Real BBQ. Real Roots. Real Arizona.
Located inside The Social House in Kingman, Arizona, The Starlight BBQ is where Western tradition meets farm-to-table pride. We're not just a restaurant — we're a dining experience born from the belief that real food, made with care, brings people together in the best possible way.
Our menu is rooted in authentic, cowboy style barbecue — slow-smoked, hand-crafted, and seasoned with the kind of patience that can't be rushed. Every dish tells a story that starts right here in the Southwest, drawing from the bounty of Arcadian American Farms and the rich culinary heritage of the American West. From tender, smoke-kissed meats to fresh, locally sourced sides, every bite at The Starlight is a reminder of what food was always meant to be.
We're proud to call Kingman home — a town with grit, heart, and a spirit as wide open as the Arizona sky. The Starlight was built for this community — for the ranchers and the road-trippers, the families and the first dates, the celebrations big and small.
Pull up a chair. The fire's been going since sunup.
The Pit
At The Starlight, great barbecue isn't a shortcut — it's a commitment. Every evening before showtime, our pitmasters are already at work, tending the fire and loading up the most impressive smoker in Northern Arizona.
Our custom horseshoe smoker holds up to 2,000 pounds of meat at a time, making it one of the largest and most capable pits in the entire region. Built for serious barbecue, it runs low and slow, coaxing out the kind of deep, smoky flavor that you simply cannot rush and cannot fake.
But great barbecue starts long before the smoke. It starts with the source.
Every cut we smoke at The Starlight is locally sourced — raised right here in the Southwest by ranchers and farmers who share our commitment to quality, integrity, and the land. We know where our meat comes from, and we're proud of it. When you taste the difference, you'll understand why it matters. From melt in your mouth brisket to juicy glazed ribs to tender, pulled apart pork.
This is barbecue the way it was meant to be done. When you sit down at The Starlight, you're not just ordering a meal. You're tasting hours of dedication, fired by wood, forged in smoke, and served with Arizona pride.
